What is "religion?" People argue about it all the time, but are we talking about the same thing? In this video, I cite a dozen or so scholars of or thinkers on religion, before explaining why I think Paul Tillich's "ultimate concern" is the best definition, and definitions that focus on the "substance" of belief -- God, the gods, Buddha, the Tao -- tend to be misleading.
